National's brand of Housing Services was founded in 1999 and has a physical presence covering the entire US. National Insurance Housing is 100% dedicated to and specializes in providing temporary housing solutions to the insurance industry. Our professionally trained associates have an average tenure of 12 -15 years handling claims for the insurance industry with backgrounds in rental home search, real estate, property management, and hospitality services.  Our team of industry experts provides our clients with surprisingly superior service as an experienced, understanding and responsive resource. Whether for furnished or unfurnished accommodations, catastrophe services, furniture rentals or hotel booking, National will provide a full and complete range of inventory options to accommodate each specific housing request.

Chief Executive Officer

After graduating from Oregon State and the University of Denver, Tom Atchison started his career in property and hotel management. In 1985 Tom entered the apartment management industry. Tom held the positions of Leasing Manager, Property Manager, and Regional Property Manager with industry leaders such as R&B Realty, Trammell Crow Residential and Summit Properties. In 1995 Tom accepted a position with ExecuStay. As Senior Vice President at ExecuStay, Tom was responsible for the operations of 18 regional offices.

In June of 1999, Tom opened the first National Corporate Housing office in Reston, Virginia. With an entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to excellence, Tom has successfully opened 27 National offices across the United States.

Chief Talent Officer

Misty joined National Corporate Housing as the Human Resource Manager in 2006. In her tenure at National, she has cultivated an outstanding professional work environment for all National employees. Misty and her team have fostered a culture worthy of the Great Place to Work designation and continually innovate on behalf of National's workforce by implementing various HR technologies.  National enjoys a very low turnover rate thanks to Misty’s focus on employee satisfaction, development, and wellbeing.

Misty graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. After graduation, Misty went to work full time for Gap, Inc holding several positions including management, merchandising and corporate training. Since starting with National in 2006, Misty has continually advanced in the field of Human Resources and Workforce Management. In 2014 she was promoted to the role of Chief Talent Officer where she oversees Payroll, Benefits, Employee Relations, Recruiting, and Learning and Development. Misty’s team has also developed and is passionate about National's intern program for college-level students. 

As a busy mom and wife, Misty understands the importance of work-life balance and strives to ensure National employees can be their best at home and in their professional role. Her goal is to make National an employer of choice around the world by making it a ‘Great Place to Work’ for each and every employee.

Chief Financial Officer/Chief Information Officer

Kregg received his degree in finance from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. Upon graduating, Kregg joined UMB Bank in Kansas City, MO as a credit analyst. In 2000, he joined J. Herzog & Sons, Inc., a private investment firm focused on commercial real estate, oil & gas and restaurant investments.

Kregg joined the National executive leadership team in August 2007 as Chief Financial Officer. He has led the company through a period of significant growth and change through several new business line acquisitions and integrations. In addition to driving the company’s financial performance, Kregg has played a key role in developing and executing the company’s strategic goals. In May 2015, Kregg was promoted to the position of Chief Information Officer. Kregg continually strives to transform National through innovative technology solutions for our clients, guests, suppliers, and associates.

President of Corporate Housing

Lukas Krause joins National with a diverse portfolio of accomplishments. He previously served as the CEO of Real Property Management, the largest single family property management company in North America. There, he successfully managed a $13 billion dollar real estate portfolio and grew the organization to more than 300 locations in the U.S. and Canada. 

Prior to leading Real Property Management, Krause served as Senior Director of Global Expansions for Quiznos, playing a major role in developing the company’s international infrastructure and growing the brand to more than 5,000 locations on four different continents. He holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing from Indiana University and has an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Colorado.

PRESIDENT & COO, NATIONAL INSURANCE HOUSING

Cinda has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston. She was a buyer/planner/manager for the May Company in Houston Texas after college where she gained valuable purchasing, branding and design experience. Cinda has worked for several nationwide corporate housing companies, including Gables Corporate Accommodations and National Corporate Housing, in a variety of roles including: COO, President, Vice President of Sales and Operations, General Manager, Marketing Director and Special Projects.  She has been a member of the Corporate Housing Providers Association since 2001. She has and maintains her CCHP designation (Certified Corporate Housing Provider.)

PRESIDENT OF DESTINATION SERVICES

Tom brings more than 30 years of progressive relocation and real estate experience in client services, operations, supplier management, human resources, training, sales, and branch management. He is an active member of Worldwide Employee Relocation Council® (ERC), from which he has received the Senior Certified Relocation Professional® (SCRP) designation, the Global Mobility Specialist designation (GMS) and two Meritorious Service Awards. Tom holds a master’s degree in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication.  Tom is also a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts and Colorado.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, EMEA APAC

Tom has more than 14 years of management experience across multiple industries in global locations. He has served as a senior asset manager with multiple companies across Australia, focusing on multi-owner property management while also managing a team across several disciplines. Tom’s experience in the hospitality and property management industry excelled when he joined Oakwood in 2014 as Operations Manager for the EMEA region and was promoted to General Manager in 2015, then Managing Director in 2016. As Chief Operating Officer, Tom is responsible for directing the operations of National’s EMEA and APAC programs. This role is part of National’s global expansion and ensures profitable global operations while maintaining National’s unique culture and commitment to its clients.

VICE PRESIDENT, SALES & MARKETING

Kristin Westberg accelerated her sales and marketing career after completing her MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management in 2007. From her undergraduate days studying International Business at the University of Georgia, Kristin has carved a path towards executive leadership that has taken her all around the world, working in hotel management and marketing in Costa Rica and managing resort development and sales for Caesars Entertainment Corporation in London, England. Kristin grew quickly within the Caesars organization to the rank of Vice President of Marketing in 2013. At the start of 2017, Kristin joined the National family where she leads the sales and marketing teams and drives all B2B and B2C growth initiatives.
