Chief Executive Officer

After graduating from Oregon State and the University of Denver, Tom Atchison started his career in property and hotel management. In 1985 Tom entered the apartment management industry. Tom held the positions of Leasing Manager, Property Manager, and Regional Property Manager with industry leaders such as R&B Realty, Trammell Crow Residential and Summit Properties. In 1995 Tom accepted a position with ExecuStay. As Senior Vice President at ExecuStay, Tom was responsible for the operations of 18 regional offices.

In June of 1999, Tom opened the first National Corporate Housing office in Reston, Virginia. With an entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to excellence, Tom has successfully opened 27 National offices across the United States.

President and Chief Operating Officer

Misty Gregarek has been with National Corporate Housing for over 15 years holding the positions of HR Manager, HR Director, VP of HR, Senior Vice President of HR, Chief Talent Officer, and President and COO. She oversees corporate housing, company operations, consulting on global business acquisitions, associate mentoring programs, and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. Her various roles have all had one common trend – helping shape the dynamic culture National has by focusing on associate satisfaction and exceptional customer service.

 Misty graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. After graduation, Misty went to work full time for Gap, Inc. holding several positions including management, merchandising, and corporate training. Since starting with National in 2006, Misty has continually advanced in the field of Human Resources and Workforce Management. Over the course of five years, she has led the Great Places to Work (GPTW) internal associate satisfaction scores, by increasing rates each year. In 2019, Misty was a key player in helping launch diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and works closely with the DEI Specialist to ensure a positive workspace for each associate where they feel valued.

 As a busy mom and wife, Misty understands the importance of work-life balance and strives to ensure National employees can be their best at home and in their professional role. 

Vice Chair

Dan joined National in 2020 after serving as its outside legal counsel since its inception. He oversees the company’s legal affairs, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives. Before joining National, Dan was a partner at Womble Bond Dickinson for nearly 20 years, where he served in a variety of roles including Office Managing Partner and member of the firm’s management committee. Earlier in his career, Dan was a Founding Partner of the Jefferson Law Firm, where he incorporated National, and Senior Vice President and General Counsel of a large real estate development company. While in private practice he was a Chambers-recognized lawyer.

Dan is an honors graduate of Cornell University, where he was captain of the soccer and NCAA championship lacrosse teams and was named one of the NCAA’s Top Five student-athletes. He later captained the USA lacrosse team and was inducted into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he met his wife, Jenny, with whom he has two grown sons.

Chief Innovation Officer

During her 10-year stint as President and CEO of Worldwide ERC®, the workforce mobility association, Peggy extended the reach of the organization around the world and fostered the organization’s evolution into a content-rich community for talent management and mobility. Subsequent industry positions (executive roles in Shyft and CapRelo, and focused consulting collaborations) further honed her expertise in entrepreneurial settings, strategic innovation, and organizational development.

Prior to these mobility roles, during her 13-year tenure with Microsoft, she developed and implemented ideation, strategy, and execution for the company’s world-class Mobility Center of Excellence (COE).

Peggy holds a BA in Marketing from Seattle University, has guest-lectured on talent mobility at Georgetown University and Seattle University, and is a contributing writer to the NACE Foundation. She has also contributed editorially to the Forbes Nonprofit Council and has been interviewed, published, and/or quoted in such outlets as Forbes.com, HR.com, SHRM, Fortune, CIO magazine, TLNT magazine, HR Dive, Recruiting Daily Advisor, Mobility magazine, and Business.com. Peggy also serves on the Strategic Advisory Council for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the University of Richmond School of Professional and Continuing Studies. She is a member of SHRM Executive Network, Lake Washington Human Resource Association, and Seattle SHRM chapter.

PRESIDENT & COO, NATIONAL INSURANCE HOUSING

 

Cinda has over 20 years of experience in the housing industry with a variety of roles including COO, President, Vice President of Sales and Operations, General Manager, Marketing Director, and Special Projects.  Her housing industry experience has come from various positions within National Corporate Housing, Gables Corporate Accommodations, Apartment Outfitters/Convenient Housewares, and National Insurance Housing. Cinda has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston.  She has been a member of the Corporate Housing Providers Association since 2001. She holds and maintains her CCHP designation (Certified Corporate Housing Provider). 

Senior Vice President of HR

Tom brings more than 30 years of progressive relocation and real estate experience in client services, operations, supplier management, human resources, training, sales, and branch management. He is an active member of Worldwide Employee Relocation Council® (ERC), from which he has received the Senior Certified Relocation Professional® (SCRP) designation, the Global Mobility Specialist designation (GMS) and two Meritorious Service Awards. Tom holds a master’s degree in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication.  Tom is also a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts and Colorado.

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, EMEA APAC

Tom has more than 14 years of management experience across multiple industries in global locations. He has served as a senior asset manager with multiple companies across Australia, focusing on multi-owner property management while also managing a team across several disciplines. Tom’s experience in the hospitality and property management industry excelled when he joined Oakwood in 2014 as Operations Manager for the EMEA region and was promoted to General Manager in 2015, then Managing Director in 2016. As Chief Operating Officer, Tom is responsible for directing the operations of National’s EMEA and APAC programs. This role is part of National’s global expansion and ensures profitable global operations while maintaining National’s unique culture and commitment to its clients.

Senior Vice President, Corporate Housing

Senior Vice President of Corporate Housing, Laura Ciabotti, has expansive experience in corporate housing spanning nearly 30 years. Her roles have varied from the market and regional operations, sales, sales management, marketing, and learning and development. Laura came to National through the acquisition of Equity Corporate Housing in 2011 where she served as Regional Sales Manager, Vice President of Sales, and eventually as the Vice President of Training. She is an experienced and versatile leader able to drive change through the development of people and a collaborative approach to driving consistent, long-term profitability. She has a unique ability to bring key stakeholders across divisions together to focus on profitable growth, innovation, and meeting the organization's goals. 

Senior Vice President Destination, Rental & Travel Services

Kerrie has over 20 years of executive-level experience, including 15 years as CEO of Coppergate International – acquired by National Corporate Housing in October 2019.  A champion for, and driver of, continual improvement, her career has encompassed; team leadership, client services, sales, marketing, and program development.  As Senior Vice President of Destination, Rental and Travel Services, Kerrie is responsible for the strategic growth of the Divisions; including the expansion of these services globally to support clients wherever they may need us.  As a British citizen, who moved to the U.S. in 2005 with two elementary-aged children, Kerrie’s own experience of relocation has been instrumental in ensuring empathy and personalized service is provided to each relocating or traveling individual we assist.
